On-line bike stores
If (when) you break something major on your bike, before you make a purchase, be sure to shop around. That includes looking at on-line stores.
Recently I blew the rear shock on my bike. The local bike stores were asking around $500 for the part. On-line I was able to buy it for under $300. A difference that was well worth the shipping time.
The store that I have found has great prices is Cambria Bikes.
Don't get me wrong though, I am all for shopping locally but there is a point (such as when their prices are almost double) that it is hard to justify using the local shops.
